Happy Monday to you all.
A new day, a new week, a fresh start.
Apologies for being quiet lately. I flew back from Nassau, Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale last night after resigning from my position as 2nd Stewardess on M/Y Emelina. I decided to finally listen to my intuition, believe in my skills and talents and to follow my true path to happiness.
I am very excited about heading home to Cape Town, South Africa, in two weeks’ time. I have worked hard over the past three years to be able to set myself up comfortably. I can’t wait to spend quality time with my friends and family, find an awesome new job (www.katiewilter.com), buy a car and nest in a cosy apartment. Yes please!
But first, I need to scratch my travel itch. I have booked flights to go on a holiday to Nicaragua. I plan to surf, do yoga, explore, sip drinks while soaking up the sunset and meeting like-minded travelers. I will also need to try and remember some Spanish phrases. Je je je.
Also, a reminder about my Treevolution project – please buy a tree. The organizers at Greenpop contacted me to say that trees are now R100 which is less than $10 so please help me in reducing our carbon footprint and donate now.
Lou, my music angel of the day, sent me a link to Ben Howard’s song ‘Keep Your Head Up’ to help me swiftly adapt to these new positive changes in my life. Watch the video and appreciate the awesome lyrics. I think Ben Howard’s music is going to be my Nicaragua soundtrack.
All I was searchin’ for was me…
May you find happiness there,
May all your hopes all turn out right.Keep your head up, keep your heart strong.
